We went into downtown Columbus with Shelley and Bob to see the Clippers play the Buffalo Bisons, which seemed like a rather redundant nickname to me.
Shelley had gotten tickets for us to sit in the club/bar section--the only tickets that weren't sold out. But they were really the best we could have gotten, as we snagged a corner of the bar and got to talk during the game.
We could wander over and look at the live action whenever something was going on, or if we just had a hankerin' to do so.
And we could keep up with the action on TVs in front of us.
It was a really cool way to attend a ballgame.
After the game, we hung out at their house for a few minutes, then headed back to our hotel.
We got up the next morning, had breakfast in the hotel, then drove back to Chicago--getting in around 2:30 in the afternoon.
Now--back to the grind. But Empty Nesters Still ROCK!
