We stopped at a little general store on the Chambersburg Pike up in the gap for some waters. Lori picked up some 10-year-old chewing gum, too. Then we continued on our way.
Between southern Pennsylvania and souther Ohio, there is a tiny spike of West Virginia that contains Wheeling. It is only 9 miles wide where I-70 crosses it.
It took us more than an hour to get through--thank you economic stimulus bill!
We got into Columbus and to Shelley, Bob, Emily and Granny's house at around 9:00--in time to have a little fun that night. We said goodnight, and went to our hotel.
The next morning we got up and went back to Shelley's for breakfast, then Lori and I drove up to Prospect to spend a little time with her grandmother Mimi, her Aunt Cheryl and her Uncle Pat.
We left Prospect at about four, and got back to our hotel at around four.
Next up: a Clippers ballgame!
