It's been a busy month, what with our trip to Iowa and NE Illinois and Kevin and Pat's visit here. We leave for D.C. on August 2nd, so had a weekend to relax before gearing up for the road.
So that's just what we did. We rode bikes to the Farmer's Market on Saturday, then did some other shopping.
Sunday we rode bikes to brunch, then sat around in our backyard--Lori read and snoozed, and I smoked two shoulder roasts. We were pulling for Tom Watson in the British Open, but it was not to be.
My summer class has ended--all that's left is grading exams and research papers and turning in grades. I should get it all done by the end of this weekend.
Then the planning and listing making really begins.
