A Calmer Weekend-Or Was It?

After our very busy weekend and week, we needed some down time to just hang out. So we set our sights on just hanging out with each other at home last weekend.

Friday night we watched an episode of The Tudors on DVD.

Saturday afternoon we did a little shopping, Saturday night we made chili, watched another Tudors episode, then listened to new records by Deb Callahan and Adele. Lori danced some, and I appreciated her dancing. (A hint: the videos at the bottom of this entry are meant to run simultaneously--first, mute the sound on mine, then start it, and then quickly start Lori's!) Finally we sat out on the back porch for a little while.

On Sunday we read the Tribune and the NY Times, then went to brunch at Wishbone. Then we put the Sox-Dodgers spring training game on TV and read the papers and other stuff some more.

Oh, and it snowed.

Late in the afternoon, Lori watched Emma, and I watched Mizzou get pummelled by Kansas on the DVR. Then we made split pea soup for supper.

Finally, Sunday night we watched yet another episode of The Tudors and one of The Wire, then called it a weekend.

Okay. Batteries recharged.
