Milwaukee

Forgive us and me, gentle reader. We and I have been extremely busy during late August and all of September.


But that's done now, so things are a good bit looser now. It's update time.




We drove up to Milwaukee on the weekend between our birthdays this year.


We stayed at a very cool art deco hotel a couple of miles west of the lake, and went to the art museum on Saturday morning.



Later, we walked downtown in the city, admiring statues--including the Bronze Fonz.



Before we left town on Sunday morning, we had brunch in the hotel.



On the way back to Chicago, we stopped in Kenosha for a shopping spree at the outlet mall there. Oh what fun.
